There are a few simple steps to take to make sure you can receive the family pictures that you are dreaming of!
Pick the right photographer!
Just like any other type of art, photography editing styles depend entirely on the photographer/artist! Every photographer will have a style of both taking the images, as well as how they edit those images. There are so many styles and genres of photographers. If you are looking for light and bright, look for words like “NJ true to life photographer” ” New Jersey bold and colorful photographer” or “Sussex County light and bright photographer” in your searches!
it’s important to find a photographer with a style in their existing portfolio that you love! Photographers don’t typically change their photography or editing styles to a clients request. So don’t find a dark and moody photographer and hope to receive bright and light images!
Timing
Follow your photographer’s suggestions for time of day to get the best lighting in your images! Spoiler alert, the brightest part of the day is not the key to bright images! instead early morning or just before sunset are best, and and experienced photographer who knows and understands the way natural light works. The key to light and bright images is how the photographs are created and edited by the photographer.
Wardrobe

The prettiest backdrops that are in the worst light won’t give you the images you’re hoping for. Follow your photographer’s advice in location selection and worry less about background! A true professional experienced photographer can make even the simplest or mundane of backdrops look MAGICAL with the right light!
