SAY HELLO!
I'm thrilled you're here! Whether you're getting married or starting a family, I am here to help you document your most treasured memories. When the party is over and the kids have grown, - the memories and photographs are all that's left.
As Alyssa and I were chatting through her wedding day dreams and plans at The Conservatory at The Sussex County Fairgrounds, tradition and timeless details kept coming up. She had dreams of classic royal wedding vibes. All white florals, all white dresses, candle light, a traditional church ceremony and portraits. I think she pulled it off, don’t you?!
Alyssa and Andrew had the most perfect, summer wedding day at the Reformed Baptist Church of Lafayette, and a reception at The Conservatory at The Sussex County Fairgrounds.. They have a beautiful love for one another and I just know they will be happy and grow old together!
Alyssa and Andrew both chose to get ready at their childhood homes. They are a very traditional couple, so they were still both living at home up until the day of their wedding. This portions of the day holds such significance. A true moment of them leaving their parents homes and coming together into their own.
Alyssa had her girls helping to get her ready. She had her maid of honor say a prayer over her before they headed off to the ceremony. A beautiful moment with all of them together, wishing her well as she starts her marriage to Andrew.
During the Father Daughter first look, her dad gave her sentimantal pieces from her grandfathers to place in her bridal gown pockets. She also had dad secure her grandmother’s bracelet around her wrist, so she could walk down the aisle with her grandparents presence felt.
First look down the aisle with a traditional blusher veil and first kiss reveal. In today’s world, we don’t often see any of these moments happening at a wedding. It was nice to take a step back to tradition and witness the way weddings were traditionally done. I actually adore the blusher veil. Such a classic, beautiful touch.
Alyssa and Andrew were on the dance floor and with one another all night!! This makes for very happy photographers, and very happy couples when they get their photos back! Tons of photos with the happy couple enjoying their wedding reception together! -highly recommend!
After the cake was cut, the couple served shots of milk with chocolate chip cookies! So fun and an adorable touch! Who doesn’t like milk and cookies?!
Cheers to the happy couple!! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness as you build your lives together!
xx, Ashley
