SAY HELLO!
I'm thrilled you're here! Whether you're getting married or starting a family, I am here to help you document your most treasured memories. When the party is over and the kids have grown, - the memories and photographs are all that's left.
On a stunning autumn afternoon, I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Dylan’s engagement session at the North Shore House wedding venue, the most beautiful wedding venues on the Lake. Emma and Dylan, both locals, have a deep connection to the area—and especially to this lakeside gem. The North Shore House has a rustic elegance that perfectly reflects their personalities and their vision for their wedding day. Emma, who works as the wedding coordinator on the property, arranged for a meaningful touch to their session by bringing along a truly unique piece: her grandfather’s lovingly restored 1930s red Ford hot rod. This car, a family heirloom and gift from Emma’s grandfather, added an extra layer of sentimental charm to an already magical setting.
Meeting Emma during a wedding at the North Shore House this past summer felt like serendipity. We connected instantly, and it was easy to see her dedication to creating beautiful events on the property. Emma has a natural eye for detail and a warm presence that I’m sure makes every couple feel at home. Seeing her in front of the camera with Dylan, however, was a whole new side of her! They share a warm, playful chemistry that made this session feel effortless and joyful.
Swartswood Lake, with its tranquil waters and vibrant fall foliage, created a breathtaking backdrop for their engagement photos. As the sun began to set, the sky cast a golden glow over the lake, framing Emma and Dylan beautifully. We spent time capturing shots by the water’s edge, taking full advantage of the North Shore House’s picturesque setting. The hot rod, parked on the long winding driveway to the lake, became a focal point for some classic and romantic images. Emma’s face lit up when she talked about her grandfather’s work restoring the car; you could tell it was so much more than just a car to her—it was a symbol of love and family legacy.
The North Shore House wedding venue offers such a versatile space that can be both intimate and grand. Emma and Dylan plan to have an intimate dinner-party-style wedding here next spring, surrounded by close friends and family. It’s a perfect fit for them, reflecting their love for meaningful gatherings and for each other. Their engagement session was filled with laughter, shared memories, and a glimpse into the love that will undoubtedly make their wedding day incredibly special.
From the warm, rustic charm of the North Shore House to the timeless beauty of Swartswood Lake, every detail felt like it was straight out of a storybook. I can’t wait to return in the spring to capture Emma and Dylan’s wedding day at this stunning North Shore House wedding venue—a place they know so well and that already holds so many special memories. Their journey, rooted in family, tradition, and love, is just beginning, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it!
