As a New Jersey wedding photographer, I’ve encountered all kinds of weather, but Maebel and Cole’s engagement session at High Point State Park stands out as one of the most unforgettable. Maebel, my incredible photo assistant and a talented photographer in her own right, has been with her fiancé Cole for over seven years. These two share a love for everything country and rustic, so they’re planning a barn wedding next summer. But first, they wanted their engagement session to reflect the natural, rugged beauty of New Jersey, and High Point State Park delivered exactly that.
Despite the freezing temperatures, Maebel and Cole handled the shoot like absolute champs, embracing the adventure of shooting in conditions that few couples would endure.
