Today, I’m excited to share an adorable newborn session that took place right in the heart of Lake Mohawk, in North NJ. A cozy in-home newborn photography session filled with joy and love! And the sweetest underwater-themed nursery you ever did see, all in honor of dad’s career as a diver. Peep the wave wallpaper painstakingly hung by dad Evan, a cute little knit octopus and diver gifted to the new family and a comical under-sea print with a deep sea diver captured by an octopus! Too cute! At the center of it all, stealing the show with those irresistible tiny toes and squishy cheeks, was the star of the day – Baby Baylor!
Sparta NJ Newborn Photography
As a North NJ newborn photographer, I’ve been to countless homes for in home photography shoots, each one being unique and beautiful! I was greeted enthusiastically by the family’s two dogs, or should I say their first born children!? These pups were interested in everything we did and made their way into a lot of the family’s photos which I will never complain about! I love dogs and especially dogs and babies! We used some trickery – aka treats to get them into photos that look natural and cute, but for sure wouldn’t happen on their own.

Baby Baylor was wide awake for the whole session. Not wanting to miss out on any of the fun! He was wrapped snugly in a cozy blanket, as mom and dad held and admired his little features and the love between them. What truly makes a session unforgettable is the real moments. Baylor sucking on moms nose, Dad being utterly in love with his new little family, a quiet nursing session ( moms eyes only ) and the dogs being so interested in their new baby brother. It was clear that Baby Baylor was surrounded by an abundance of love that would carry him through a lifetime of adventures – maybe even underwater ones?
