This High Point State Park Engagement session in Sussex County NJ with Charlotte and Ben back in February was literally SO FUN! I know I say that sessions are fun a lot… but for real, I don’t think we stopped moving and laughing the ENTIRE time! We kind of had to to keep warm, it was brutally cold but perfectly sunny on their session date!

Charlotte and Ben live in Chicago, Illinois currently, and were only out in NJ for a short window in February ( the absolute coldest month in NJ!) to make wedding arrangements with their venue The Club at Picatinny. We for sure didn’t let a little cold stop us from having an amazing time at their engagement session at High Point State Park! We took advantage of the window of time that we had and went for it!

A little about them:

These two are MIDDLE SCHOOL sweethearts your guys! They met and started dating at 13! They have literally grown up together and I think that is just the sweetest thing. Their chemistry and love for one another is incredible, they mesh so well, and have such infectious laughter! You can just tell they are going to live happily ever after and have such a love filled marriage.

We spent the evening running, playing games, meeting a sweet pup, and trying to keep warm in the frigid temps! These two were troopers! They didn’t complain once! Even up on top of High Point Mountain where the winds are always a bit wild!! Not pictured: Me in a huge parka, gloves hat and snow boots freezing my arse off! FOR REAL!

I cannot wait to see these two get married at a beautiful ceremony this November at The Club at Picatinny! It’s going to be one heck of a party!!
