The Ceremony Space features a beautiful greenery wall, and a retractable glass roof and sliding side doors so you get an open air feel, while never having to worry about weather.
THE REFINERY
Your Cocktail Hour will be held inside the lounge area which features multiple seating areas, a brick pizza oven, and a large outdoor space for your guests.
COCKTAIL HOUR
The Refinery at Perona Farms offers so many great portrait locations for the best wedding pictures! You will have use of the entire area surrounding the refinery including the front, the ceremony space with it's lush greenery wall, the cocktail hour garden, the pine tree row and the willow tree and swing.
THE PORTRAIT LOCATIONS
The Refinery at Perona Farms reception Space features a industrial chic vibes with brick walls, metal beams, a greenery wall, and arched windows. It's spacious enough to fill with all your closest friends and family, while keeping a cozy, modern romantic look.
THE RECEPTION
For Perona Farms, I always recommend doing a first look to take advantage of the amazing grounds, and get all of your photos out of the way. With a first look you can schedule your ceremony closer to sunset for better lighting, and ENJOY your entire cocktail hour and reception with your guests
Should we do a first look?
Do they allow for sparkler exits? Should we do one?
Family portraits, whether before or after the ceremony should take place near the ceremony site. The best area to use at Perona Farms is right next to or inside the ceremony area.
There is also the cottage area by the willow tree if you are reserved there, and outside the barn if you are having your wedding there.
Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?
I love to have enough time with the wedding couple for their portraits! a minimum of 30-45 minutes is recommended, with an additional 15 minutes at sunset for the best lighting of the day.
How long should we plan to take bride & groom portraits?
Ceremony start time should be based off of the sunset for your wedding day. If you are having a first look with all your photos before the ceremony then plan for about one hour before sunset. If you are keeping with tradition, schedule your ceremony for three hours before sunset.
What time should we schedule our ceremony to begin?
Perona offers the perfect getting ready spaces for both of you1. The spaces are located in multiple locations on the property. depending on the room you have reserved for your reception.

FAQ
Perona does allow for the sparkler exit! I always recommend a "mock or staged" exit with just your wedding party. That way you can do the exit before everyone has had a few too many and you can keep the dance floor going!
