If you have been thinking about booking a session on Long Beach Island, consider this your sign. There is something undeniably special about summer at the Jersey Shore. LBI is where New Jersey families slow down, breathe in the salty air, and spend long golden evenings simply being together.
Sandy toes, sun kissed cheeks, and that soft sunset light over the waves create the kind of images that never lose their meaning. Years from now you will not just see these photos, you will feel them. The season of little hands, bike rides, boardwalk treats, and carefree beach nights goes by quickly.

Let go of perfect
Beach sessions are all about island life, sandy toes, bicycle rides, and sticky fingers from melting ice cream. Let go of perfect and just be yourselves because the magic is always in the in between. Photos full of movement, laughter, and big family snuggles. We will chase the waves, follow your kids’ lead, and soak in every bit of summer joy at the beach. These are the moments you will look back on and feel all over again.

Head down the far end of the Island near Ol' Barney
where we can wander our way to the beach
SUNRISE : Sometimes the little ones are up with the sun so sunrise, though difficult for adults, can be the BEST time for little ones, Though we must get up and get going as the softest light is just as the sun comes up.
SUNSET: The best for meeting for ice cream or a bike ride first then heading out onto the beach just as the sun is about to set. These sessions can go pretty late in the summer often ending at 8:30 for the very best soft lighting. Best for bigger kids or pushing the afternoon nap back a bit to keep them up later.
DURATION: : I have no time limit on these, though most families are "done" in an hour or so.
WEATHER: If it's foggy or rainy or VERY windy we will postpone to the next available sunrise or sunset. Wind on the beach is NOT FUN.
I leave some wiggle room in my schedule but please don't schedule for the last day you are there so we can have a chance to re-schedule.

You don't need to bring anything to have some fun on the beach, but you are welcome to!
* A little beach pails for each of the kids and a pocketful of seashells for them to "find" a great little trick!
* bait for luring in the seagulls to have them follow you in photos! This is fun for older kids, but sometimes the young ones are scared of them!
* a kite to fly together - even just a little one.
* Towel or beach blanket to match your wardrobe.
* A big LBI sweatshirt for after the water.
* A beach basket filled with sand toys, great for a colorful session!
Accessories
It's inevitable, we end up in the water at the end... always. Whether it's just our toes or all the way to our waist it happens! PLAN on it and GO with it!
Jump over waves, run from them, toss the kids, and play games together.
THIS is what it's all about.

GALLERY DELIVERY - Your images will be uploaded into a private online gallery with watermarks. You will chose which final package you'd like from your gallery and automatically be able to download your images. Once downloaded your images will not have watermarks on them, and you are free to use them as you'd like!
