Motherhood deserves to be celebrated, not just once, but in all of its seasons. This April and May, Renee Ash Photography is hosting Motherhood Studio Sessions designed to honor moms, moms-to-be, grandmas, and the incredible women who show up as mother figures every single day.

Held in my natural light studio at The Shoppes at Lafayette in Lafayette, NJ, these sessions are soft, meaningful, and beautifully simple, the kind of photos that feel just as special years from now as they do today.

A Light-Filled Mother’s Day Photo Session Studio Experience in Lafayette, NJ

The studio space is bright, airy, and timeless, creating the perfect backdrop for connection-focused portraits. Think neutral tones, gentle light, and room to simply be together without distractions. Whether you’re snuggling your newborn, holding hands with your toddler, or gathering three generations in one frame, the focus is always on emotion and connection.

To make these sessions even more special, each studio session will feature fresh florals by Amy of The Wild Floweress Design Co. Her arrangements bring a soft spring touch that feels elevated yet organic — the perfect complement to motherhood imagery.

Mini Sessions & Full Sessions Available

April 25 & 26

Motherhood sessions are available as both mini sessions and full sessions, making it easy to choose what works best for your family.

• Mini Sessions are ideal for updated portraits, moms with one or two children, or a simple way to document this season without a long time commitment.
• Full Sessions allow for more flexibility, multiple groupings, outfit changes, and a slower pace — perfect for multigenerational portraits, moms-to-be, or families wanting a more relaxed experience.

These sessions are intentionally designed to be easy and stress-free, with gentle prompts that encourage natural interaction rather than stiff posing.

Multigenerational Motherhood Portraits

In addition to studio sessions on April 25 & 26, I also offer outdoor Mom & Me sessions and in-home Mom & Me sessions throughout April and May.

• Outdoor sessions are perfect for moms who love movement, fresh air, and a more candid feel — walking hand in hand, laughing together, or simply enjoying a quiet moment.
• In-home sessions capture the beauty of everyday life: baking together, reading on the couch, gardening, morning routines, or that one thing you and your kids love to do together.
