Family sessions can take place at beautiful outdoor locations throughout North Jersey including Sussex County parks, lakeside areas, botanical gardens, and open fields. I also offer in-home lifestyle sessions for families who want cozy, meaningful images in their own space. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and connection-focused. We start with a few traditional portraits with everyone looking at the camera, then move into natural moments like walking, playing, laughing, and interacting together. I guide you the entire time so you never feel awkward or unsure what to do.

Soft neutrals, light textures, and coordinated (not matching) outfits photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection. I provide styling guidance for every session, including color palettes and outfit ideas for moms, dads, and kids so everything feels cohesive and timeless.

Yes. Extended family and legacy sessions are a wonderful way to document multiple generations together. These sessions include classic group portraits along with smaller family combinations and candid moments so everyone is beautifully documented. ( Pricing dependent on number of people) 

Most full family sessions last about 60 minutes, allowing enough time for genuine connection without overwhelming young children. Longer “legacy” sessions or storytelling sessions can be closer to two hours to allow for multiple groupings or locations.

This is one of the biggest worries parents have, and it’s completely normal. My sessions are designed to be child-led and pressure-free. I use playful prompts, movement, and conversation to help kids feel comfortable. Some of the most meaningful photos come from the in-between moments when kids are simply being themselves.

Each full session includes a carefully curated gallery of beautifully edited images. You’ll receive a mix of traditional portraits, candid moments, and meaningful in-between details that tell the story of your family right now. There is no limit to the number of photos in a full session with most receiving over 100.

Your images are delivered digitally with the option to purchase heirloom albums, framed artwork, and prints if you’d like help turning your photos into lasting pieces for your home. Many families choose albums as a way to preserve these memories for their children.
