I had the pleasure of being Alyssa and Gerard’s Mountain Creek Wedding Photographer at the Red Tail Lodge! Alyssa, Gerard, their families, and crew run deep, so it was bound to be an amazing wedding for all!

THEIR STORY

Alyssa and Gerard are a beautiful, fun loving couple who are madly in love with one another! They have two kids together already, so their wedding day became a celebration of not only their marriage, but of their family! Gerard and Alyssa share a love and joy for one another that I wish everyone could have. He looks at her with absolute adoration, and they have so much fun and laughter together!

THEIR DAY

Their Mountain Creek wedding day started at the Appalachian Hotel at The Red Tail Lodge with both Alyssa and Gerard getting ready in the Bridal and Grooms suites. Each one of them had one of their kids with them the morning of. Alyssa had sweet 3 month old Olivia with her, sleeping most of the morning! Gerard had their 2 year old son Max with him, hanging with the boys and getting dressed together. It was the sweetest! If you don’t know, Brooke, my daughter was at our wedding right around the same age as Max! So I have a soft spot for having your babies with you on your wedding day.

THE MOUNTAIN TOP PORTRAITS AND CEREMONY

Mountain Creek weddings are unique in that you and all of your guests will ride up the gondola to the top of the mountain for the ceremony! Everyone really enjoys this unique and fun aspect of getting married at a ski resort!

Wedding parties will head up to the top of the mountain first for portraits and the Bride and Groom first look if they would like!

THE RECEPTION

The Cocktail hour and reception are held within the Red Tail Lodge at Mountain Creek. With stunning views of the mountain though it’s floor to ceiling windows, and rustic, warm, mountain lodge vibes, it’s the perfect space for your wedding day party!

Alyssa and Gerard chose a first look on their wedding day so they enjoyed the entire cocktail hour and evening with their friends and family! This crowd knew how to have a good time that’s for sure! Alyssa and Gerard danced the night away, and right into their forever!
