SAY HELLO!
I'm thrilled you're here! Whether you're getting married or starting a family, I am here to help you document your most treasured memories. When the party is over and the kids have grown, - the memories and photographs are all that's left.
Charlotte and Ben had the most beautiful early November day for their Picatinny Club wedding in Wharton NJ! This day was a long time coming as they’ve been together since their Freshman years in High school! These two are absolutely made for one another, best friends, soul mates, each other’s better halves. It was a pleasure and an honor to be part of the day that kicks off the entire rest of their lives together.
I am sure that Ben and Charlotte will be able to tell their own highlights from their day, but I certainly have a few that I got the chance to capture from the other side of the camera! Starting out with Charlotte’s Champagne “pop” and toast! … turns out the champs was a twist off! So they all played it off like there was a big epic POP! All the girls channelled their inner actresses and made like they were so suprised… then of course burst out into real fits of laughter!
Charlotte during all of our pre-wedding detail meetings made it a point to let me know that she LOVES crescent cocktail franks, and that she really wanted a photo of her with them. So of course, I grabbed a whole tray full of them and delivered them right into the Bridal Suite at The Club at Picatinny so she could enjoy them with her new husband…. more fits of laughter followed as they cheered with them and fed one another the little yummy dogs!
POCKETS! Charlotte’s bridal gown had pockets! She was pretty pumped about it, and had her hands in her dress pockets at so many points of the day, even during the ceremony! AND during bridal party portraits she had hidden some skittles in the pockets and shared with their junior groomsman/ ring security boy… so funny and cute!
At the end of the night they of course danced the horah, and were lifted up on chairs by their wedding guests! I always LOVE these dances!! The fun and excitement is infectious and I just find myself completely in it, laughing and dancing right along with the whole party! As Charlotte was up on the chair, she got a bit close to the light fixtures, and had a few close calls! So word to any future bride and grooms, watch for overhead lights!
Charlotte and Ben! I am so honored to have been trusted to capture such a huge day in your lives! It was a pleasure meeting you both, getting to know you, and having so much fun together celebrating your love story. I wish you both nothing but love and happiness for all of the rest of your days!
xx, Ashley
