Hi, I'm Ashley

Bringing a new baby home is a blur in the very best way. The days are soft and emotional. Time feels strange. You are learning this brand new little person while also adjusting to a new version of yourself. That is exactly why an in home newborn session in Morris County New Jersey can feel like the most natural way to document this season.
You do not need to leave your house.
You do not need to have a perfectly styled nursery.
You do not need to know how to pose or be a model.
You just need to be home with your baby. I will take care of the rest.

Most expecting moms tell me they are nervous about photos. They worry their home is not photo ready or that their baby will not cooperate or that they will not know what to do in front of the camera.
Here is the truth. My iIn Home Newborn Photography sessions are slow, calm, and baby led. I guide you gently the entire time. I use natural light. I give clear direction so you never feel awkward or unsure. We build in time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and breaks.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced.
Your session feels more like a quiet morning at home than a photoshoot.

If the idea of being photographed makes you anxious, you are exactly who I work with every day. My clients are real families. Busy working moms. Parents who have never had professional photos before. Moms who say they are not photogenic.
You do not need to perform. You do not need to smile at the camera the whole time. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in between moments. The way you look at your baby. The way your partner holds them. The way your home feels right now.
That is what I photograph.

An in home newborn photography session allows you to stay in your comfort zone during those early weeks. Your home becomes part of your story. The nursery you thoughtfully prepared. The couch where you spend long mornings. The quiet corners that already hold memories.
Families in Morristown, Madison, Chatham, Randolph, Denville, Summit and throughout Morris County love that these sessions are flexible and forgiving. There is no pressure for baby to sleep. Awake images are beautiful too. Connection matters more than perfection.

I recommend reaching out during your second trimester if possible. This allows us to reserve space on my calendar around your due date and plan everything ahead of time so it feels easy when baby arrives.
That said, it is never too late to schedule an in home newborn session.
If your baby is already here and the early days flew by faster than expected, you have not missed your chance. Newborn sessions can happen days or weeks later. We focus on connection, cuddles, and real moments rather than strict timelines.
If now feels like the right time, that is enough.

From the moment you inquire, you will be supported. I provide wardrobe guidance so you know exactly what photographs well at home. I help you choose the best spaces with the light you already have. I walk you through what to expect so nothing feels uncertain.
Your only job is to love your baby.
