The Couple :

Kristen and Nick met at their Alma Mater Kutztown University through their love of the Dallas Cowboys year ago! They have been together for years, getting settled in their careers, welcoming their big fur baby Cowboy ( of course! ) and buying a home to renovate together!

Their New Jersey Shore Wedding Day

Many a day has been spent at the beach for these two, so it was only right to have a New Jersey Shore Wedding at Saint James Roman Catholic just down the road from the Windows on the Water. Both of them spent the morning getting ready at The Beachwalk hotel just steps from the beach in Sea Bright NJ. THIS HOTEL is PERFECT for getting ready in! The lighting and the space were a photographer’s dream! So much room for activities!

Thankfully their New Jersey Shore Wedding ceremony was indoors at the church, because it started to unexpectedly downpour! We quickly changed direction and did some wedding party photos inside the church instead of outside of it as planned. With the help of a few small overhangs we were able to take photos outside too – if I didn’t tell you, you never would have known it was raining during ALL of the outdoor photos at church!

The rain subsided just in time for us to still make it out onto the beach for New Jersey Shore Wedding portraits before the cocktail hour started! I never want to encroach on the best food of the day for my couples! Especially at Windows on the Water where they set out a private cocktail hour spread with a view of the water just for the couple to enjoy alone together.

What a perfect day – rain included – these two had! They finished out their day with an incredibly fun reception with their friends and family. Including an interactive sax player with the band, a fun photo booth, outdoor fire pit on the deck, and a cigar roller.

Congrats again you two! I am so thankful you chose me to document such an amazing and momentous day for you both! I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
