Back in March, just as the weather was starting to get warm enough to be outside again, I met up with these two for some Maternity photos at Waterloo Village in Stanhope NJ. We were pushing the limit of when I like to photograph maternity sessions at 35 weeks! But, we wanted to be outside, AND Sam looks absolutely amazing!! She was a trooper, taking maternity photos at Waterloo Village can be exhausting for expecting moms! It’s a big park, and all the best spots are pretty far into it, but she didn’t complain, not once!

We even had their adorable black lab/pit mix pup Bailey join us for a bunch of photos! Their dog is 100% their first child, so of course she had to come! Thankfully we had a handler, Pat, Sam’s brother, come along and take care of Bailey when she wasn’t in the shot. If you’re ever bringing a pet to your session, no matter the type of sessions it’s always a really good idea to bring along an extra person.

Josh and Samantha are the proud new parents of a sweet baby girl, Savannah, who arrived just a couple short weeks after these were taken! Leave some well wishes for them and their sweet baby girl in the comments below!
