Spring Family Photo Outfits should take into consideration the weather and the scene.

With Spring in Sussex County New Jersey right around the corner, now is a great time to start thinking about what you are going to wear for your New Jersey Spring photoshoot. Whether you’ll be going to the Cherry blossoms or a local park all of these ideas will look great!

COLORS THAT WORK FOR SPRING PHOTOS

Spring time in New Jersey is VERY green. Bright green buds are the norm. So if you’re not in the cherry blossoms or flowers, you may want to avoid any real spring looking greens. Keep to sage green, or avoid it all together, instead opting for pastels like creams, whites, yellows, pinks etc.

I prefer lighter colors in my New Jersey Spring photoshoot images, but if you’re a dark clothing kind of guy or gal, then you do you boo! Always remember that these photos are for you first and foremost. So feel like yourself and be comfortable in what you’re wearing.

MOVEMENT & TEXTURE IS AMAZING IN PHOTOS!

Think about movement and texture when choosing your outfits. What the he-double hockey sticks do I even mean by that?! …. Maxi dresses with extra fabric towards the bottom give some play in the dress! You can grab it while walking and swoosh it around, adding movement! Or if you have a particularly windy day, the wind can take it in such a great way! Not only are Maxis super flattering and kind to a mama’s body, but look amazing in photos when they blow in the wind or when your’e walking, playing with your kids!

COORDINATE, DON’T MATCH

Gone are the days of being patchy matchy! The best way to coordinate is to choose one or two patterned pieces that go together, with similar colors and “feels”. Take the colors from within those patterns and mix/match throughout everyone else’s outfits! Spring is great for pastels and softer colors.
