SAY HELLO!
I'm thrilled you're here! Whether you're getting married or starting a family, I am here to help you document your most treasured memories. When the party is over and the kids have grown, - the memories and photographs are all that's left.
Like most of America these days, my family was absolutely THRILLED to be able to get away from home even if just for a couple days. To get out of the house, enjoy the great outdoors, sit by a campfire, and enjoy some stress free family time.
Our family truly enjoys having a Jayco travel trailer that allows us to be entirely self contained. We have all of the comforts of home with our own bathroom, beds, and kitchen, while being able to be away from home.
A lot of people look at me sideways when I say that I love to go camping. But what I really mean is that I love to go “glamping”. We are by no stretch of the imagination roughing it, and we typically stay at RV Resorts with pools and amenities galore.
At this point, two years into our RV ownership path, we have found several favorite spots that we have made annual weekend getaway spots. Among those is Jellystone Lazy River in Gardiner NY.
Why?
IT’S CLOSE TO HOME
We packed up the trailer and left after my husband got home from work on Thrusday evening at 5:30. We were on the road, arrived, set up, and enjoying a margarita and a movie by 7:30.
THE VIEW IS AMAZING
There is nothing better than waking up in your own home with wheels to an incredible view of Minnewaska State Park out your window.
THE WIFI SERVICE IS GREAT!
I know, we’re supposed to disconnect from the technology when we go camping, but we are so not that family. We enjoy to have our streaming music, movies, and internet wherever we are. This trip was great in that the kids were able to finish up some school work and Zoom classroom meetings while being able to be on vacation! WIN WIN!
THE KIDS KEEP BUSY
We’ve invested in a set of 4 walkie talkies for each of us to have. So when the kids want to go off fishing, bike riding, playing mini golf, ride around on the pedal carts, or go to the snack shop they can while still being able to contact us and us contact them.
THE FAMILY PETS CAN VACATION TOO!
One of the best parts of #RVLIFE is that your pets can come too! Most RV parks are 100% pet friendly and many have dog parks right on property. No having to worry about who will watch your pets when you’re away, or the added cost of a pet sitter. Our dog Bleu absolutely LOVES the camp life!
We cannot wait to visit again for Halloween Weekends in October!
